Trachycarpus Martianus

An extremely beautiful palm which originates from the Himalyas in Nepal.

It is a very cold tolerant and can cope with up to –10c, as originally it was grown high in the Himalayan mountains. It grows into an awesome palm with a trunk that can grow up to 2m wide and 12m tall with leaves all year round and flowers in the summer.

Like most cold hardy palms it will appreciate a well-drained soil in a sunny sheltered position, but does not like exposure to cold winds.
